I offer virtual/in-person vocal and live performance coaching at a sliding scale ($30-80 CAD per hour) for singers and performers. I specialize in trauma-informed support to eliminate the negative effects of anxiety and stage fright. I speak English and Mandarin. Being understood and receiving personalized support can be life-changing. I trained under choral director Jen Williams, and studied Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, and Neuroscience at the University of British Columbia (BA). Please inquire here.

This work we do originates on unceded and ancestral territories belonging to Coast Salish Nations. I acknowledge my privilege as a settler and recognize the trauma perpetuated by colonial nations. I promise to prioritize your mental and physical wellbeing. Even though healing and recovery isn't a straightforward journey, you've lived through your worst days, and you can do it all again. Creation has always existed within us: our love for storytelling; our calling to perform; our desire for connection and meaning; expressions of joy, grief, and rage; the will to try again... It's within you. So keep going. Ancestors are rooting for us.

"Sunny is an amazing vocal coach! She helped me feel seen for where I was vocally, diving into everything from body relaxation techniques, diet recommendations for singing, body language, and mindset. Her holistic approach is truly powerful and I'm so happy they've helped me bloom in my journey. As someone who has been singing for years, Sunny has helped me create newfound confidence in my voice."

Héctor Castañeda

"Sunny has such a thoughtful, warm presence and you can tell that they really want the best for you. I felt encouraged and hopeful throughout my sessions as a result of their guidance. We worked through techniques for practicing vocals and getting over stage anxiety, and they shared their own experiences which really helped me feel supported."
